It feels good to finally have my poetry book released in some form. However, the work doesn't stop there. Now I face the challenges of promoting it. As I already knew, "self-publishing" requires you to fund most of the work yourself. It gets disheartening and a bit stressful, but it's what I have to do… Continue reading Lit. Update: Future Steps

“First and Last” – Poetry
Entertainment reaching filthier depths Jet-setting prophets with pulpits of gold Woe to the child! Woe to the parent! Repetitive sales pitch a thousand years old There's a Devil in the books, screens, and boards Dressed up in words of trendy expression He wants to rule forever and a day Camouflaged with stylish, brand-name presentation The… Continue reading “First and Last” – Poetry

Superlative Deviation: Life With Meaning, Life With Joy
I completed my first novel at the beginning of this month and am now consulting with my mentor and life coach on the next steps, not only in my career but also in my life. As Alura has told everyone, it’s vital during this time to continue working on your higher self goals. The global depression is meant to take you off your path and destroy everything you’ve fought so hard for. It’s not the end of the world, just the end of the world we used to know. Not everything will be destroyed, and there will be a time to rebuild. While the new world is not going to be a very good one, we can make our own worlds just the way we want them to be and then unite to make a community that helps others. “Choose the Light, Be the Light”: Site / Lit. / Personal Update
It's been quite some time since I posted a personal update here. I turned my site into a kind of online resume where people could read some of my poetry and take a look at my other credits as my career really takes off. However, with the new year, I'm putting together some new… Continue reading “Choose the Light, Be the Light”: Site / Lit. / Personal Update
“The Story Of Beautiful Light” – Poetry
There once was a beautiful light, Sent down from the greatest of heights. Those below saw it all, And they sniffed and guffawed! But the light was still burning and bright. This gift that was sent from above, In kindness and gentlest love - And they giggled and scorned, At the colors unborn -… Continue reading “The Story Of Beautiful Light” – Poetry
“There Was a Stranger” – Poetry
I once dreamed that there was a stranger, Who never saw love or knew laughter. Fear was all that they could see, And I saw that the stranger was me. The fear coiled tightly inside, And spewed anger, hatred, and lies. It was too thick to be seen, And it poisoned the air that… Continue reading “There Was a Stranger” – Poetry
“The End Of Confusion and Fear” – Poetry
The ancient tune’s a’calling me Away to where so few have gone. I run to join that joyful dance With the knowledge that it’s where I belong – But how I long to share the light and love with you, To laugh and cry at all the beauty here, And to race you to the… Continue reading “The End Of Confusion and Fear” – Poetry
“Candle Light Prayer” – Poetry
I come before You humbly As the candle flickers low With all my imperfections In this land of frozen snow. Insanity arising As we play the ageless war - I come before You humbly As the ancients did before. You Whose heart is endless, You of stained glass crystal mind Who pens the… Continue reading “Candle Light Prayer” – Poetry

Birth – meant for convenience and enslavement Life – valueless, pitiable Death – merely hours away Sunlight – a strange word in a foreign language Torture – a way of life Bone – what you hear scrape against the floor Blade – to puncture and prod Smiles – to mock and degrade Festival… Continue reading “Starlight Haven” – Poetry
