Placed in lands of dangerous ways
Once-open hearts now turned away
Veritas silenced by diamond ears
Every demon devouring fears
Rest denied, the bill comes due
Trust abandoned, a sickly hue
Young and old, strong and weak
Hope and Anger both will seek.
