Hearken, children! Gather ’round!
Circle’s cast on sacred ground
As I speak this ancient tale
Of the days of long farewell –
Lean in closer, bend your ears!
All may listen, few may hear
Stories and predictions made
Learned from cradle, passed to grave –
Now we face them each in turn
All because we haven’t learned
Ensconced in envy, greed, and pride
And whoring ’til the day we die –
Leave the rebels in their slumber
To the Dark Arts they surrendered
Fair thee long, and fair thee well
For Angels in your houses dwell –
Hearken, children! Gather ’round!
Circle’s cast on sacred ground
As I speak the ancient tale
Of the days of long farewell –
Gods have sung, and trumpets blown
Man has reaped what he has sown!
Light has concurred death and fear
And all will know that We were here.
